TM
OnLine is a database of
U.S. small businesses that
seek to export their products.
To be included this database,
a U.S. small business must
first register its company and
export information and receive
a password for future reentry
to update their exporter
profile. TM OnLine is also a
search engine for foreign
firms and U.S. businesses
seeking a U.S. business
partner or supplier, through
such means as direct product
sales, licensing or
franchising agreements. TM
OnLine will also be used by
the SBA to recruit for foreign
trade missions and to provide
trade leads to registered
companies.
How To Begin
U.S. small
businesses interested in using
TM OnLine to increase their
export opportunities need to
register in the database and
keep their export profile
current. Individuals or
firms in the United States or
overseas interested in finding
a U.S. small business partner
or exporter need only search
the database.
Register
After
selecting the Register option,
you will be prompted with the
question of whether you have a
U.S. SBA PRO-NetŪ Database
Password.* If yes,
enter your SBA PRO-Net
password. You will then be
sent to the Trade Mission
OnLine (TMO) Export Profile
page to enter your export
information. If no,
follow the prompts to complete
the TMO Export Profile Page,
the PRO-Net Company Profile
Page, and TMO Password
Selection.
Update
For best results, keep your
export and company profile
information current. You can
access your company's files
through this link by
submitting your password and
user ID. Your record will show
your last submission.
The TMO Administrator will
notify you by e-mail if your
record is older than six
months.
Search
The Search page is
primarily for foreign and
domestic businesses to search
the TMO database of small
business exporters that
represent potential trade
alliance partners or contacts.
SBA and its foreign
counterparts will also use the
Search function to locate U.S.
small businesses with special
interests or qualifications to
recruit for trade missions and
provide trade leads.
