Marine Insurance

Marine insurance is an essential element of the international trade process.  A recent incident highlights this need.  A ship in the South Pacific lost more than 300 shipping containers in a storm.  In 2004, more than 110 ,000 containers and 300 vessels were lost at sea.  Were they insured?
